
Benefit Cosmetics: Training Videos That Shine
Benefit Cosmetics approached me to create a series of high-quality training videos that would empower their retail partners, including Sephora and ULTA, to deliver exceptional customer experiences. These videos were designed to introduce new products, teach safe service techniques during the pandemic, and showcase makeup application tips to achieve the signature Benefit look.
Lights. Cameras. Action.
Producing these videos required careful planning and coordination. Acting as both producer and lead camera operator, I assembled a skilled team, managed budgets, and oversaw every detail of production. Over multiple shoot days, we captured professional footage that blended instruction with Benefit’s playful, iconic brand identity.

The content was tailored for retail associates and designed to fit seamlessly into Sephora and ULTA’s training systems. Tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders meant revisions were a significant part of the process, but I ensured each video met the high standards Benefit expected. Some of the pieces exceeded their expectations so much that they were repurposed for public-facing campaigns.
